Summer learning journey

Today in Ngahere we are doing the summer learning journey and this is the second activity. so here we go.

My family comes from 
Irish( from my Dad's side) 

New Zealand (from my Mum's and Dad's side)             I speak Maori and Engish and Chinse and Irish.

China ( from my Mum's side)                        The most important is my family because that's all you                                                                               need in life. 

England ( from my Dad's                                My culture is manly Maori.

Summer learning journey day 1

Today we are doing the summer learning journey this is activity 1. So this is the first activity 1 so your invited to sail at 3 weeks at sea and you have to have ten things but you don't have a fridge.

These are my ten things for 3 weeks.

4. chips 

5. candy 

6. donuts

7. vegetables

8. coco pops

9. coke cans

10. meat.

 And that's my ten items mine.

My make your own adventure story planner

Today in Ngahere we did make your own adventure story but this was my plan so after I post this to my blog I can make my own adventure story I think it would be really fun. I found linking the hardest Because I liked it to one thing but I had to unlink it then link it so it was hard.

Blog Analysis

Today I and Keil did a blog Analysis because we wanted to see how much blog posts we have done. So we had to write down how many blog posts I have done in my past three years I did 13 blog posts in June that's the highest amount of blog posts in my past three years.

Dick Frizzell's art

Today in Ngahere we did Dick Frizzell's art in class and Me and Harrison and a couple of others did the four square man as well. I did pestle and dye but it didn't turn out good because of the pestle it mixed together. We did it because we were practicing for our school float in the parade. Our parade is about a pukeko in a Ponga tree. I found it easy because we didn't have to do much coloring because we used dye for the background. By Quaid

Adventure story writing

Today in Ngahere we an adventure story writing because we are starting to write our own adventure story. And I can't wait to do it because it sounds easy. And all we had to do was to write a couple of sentences on each thing and it was actually quite easy. By Quaid.

All about me

WALT Today we did a slide that is all about me slide.
The first thing we did was write eight things about yourself then we walked around and wrote one thing that they are good at. it was fun and hard.

My poem

WALT write a poem with words of the onomatopoeia.

Today in class we were learning how to make a poem with onomatopoeia words it was easy and fun. I know it wasn't much but its a poem.
So here's mine.

         Water drip dropping off the trees
             onto the river slash plop
        Bears growing around the place.

number of the week

This week's number was 587. When we do it we go through and write down the answers the easiest slide was the even or odd it is an odd number. By Quaid

 Today I did word of the week and the word is Scarce it was hard and easy at the same time. The hardest thing was the image. By Quaid

Week 10 maths

Today we did coordinations for my maths it was hard and really fun and challenging as well because we had a lot of coordinations. At first, I thought it was going to be easy but it turned out to be hard.

Tech famine

Tech was in week 9 it was hard because we weren't allowed to go on a mobile phone, Xbox,ps4, Chromebook all that stuff. But I went on my phone and Xbox anyway because it was hard. I only survived one day so thats what I did for my tech famine.

Week 8 reflection

Week 8 was a really cool week because I only had 3 days at school. We learnt Te Reo Maori it was cool. I started my mihi. And yeah thats all I have to say so I will see you next time I do a blog post. Hope you enjoyed it.

Volume Conversion Task

WALT understand volume and capacity.

So this week we are using volume to make yummy jelly because we need to explorer volume.

Week 6 reflection

This week I've learned how to do a vanishing point for my calendar art and it's really fun. I found this blog post hard because I had to really think. We have to do jump jam on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday I really enjoyed it. I need to work on making my vanishing point better.

Week 5 Reflection

This week I learned how to connect to our story so if it has something to do with you then you have to say it then you have made a connect it was pretty fun. Me, Jacob, Harrison and kohen are making a prison breakout it is an animation we are up to 200 slides we are going to post it but then we are going to make part two. It's really good.

Double Entry Journal

When I get to his house, Grandpa sid didn’t answer the door so I let myself in with the spare key	I went to Grandpas I knocked on the door and he didn’t answer so I let myself in with the spare key
Grandpa sid has more fizz-bang then a firework display	I put out fireworks every year and that helps me understand the story more
The house felt unfamiliar I checked the inventing room he wasn’t there but I found him in the thinking room he was very sad	When I went to Grandpa’s the house felt unfamiliar he was very sad so I gave him a big hug
Soccer	I played soccer for 2 years
But I’m tired	I get tired sometimes/a lot
Grandpa sid created handstands	I am really bad at handstands

Today I did the double-entry journal it was really cool because it was really easy so that makes it cool.

Solve problems using standard written form

So today we were learning how to solve problems using standard written form. It was fun and hard because it was a bit weird.

The (GPGP)

           The great pacific garbage patch.


Great Pacific Garbage Patch (GPGP) is 3 times the size of France And that's huge So we seriously need to stop. The whole Great Pacific garbage patch ways of the 80000 tonnes.

Did you know the Great Pacific garbage patch has about 1.8 trillion pieces of plastic in it? That's a lot of plastic. 1.8 trillion pieces of plastic can fill a two-story house.

The Great Pacific garbage patch was formed by all the rubbish going into the ocean and then it takes it to Great Pacific garbage patch that's how garbage patch forms into an island.


Today we write about the great pacific garbage patch I like it a lot because it was easy. It was for my newsletter.

Film festival

 Today we were learning how to use different camera angles. We did on the court. We did it to practice for Film festival. We used Wevideo it was really fun. My group is Me, Taj, Kohen, and Clara. Now hope you enjoy.

Today for my literacy medals we read a book the title of the book is speechless it is about a girl that was scared to read a speech to her whole school it was a cool book but not the best book because I like motorbike racing. Hope you enjoy.

My weekend.
On Monday 24th I Payton, Keton and Kolton went up to my Grandad’s farm we went over to the hut we put in the last row of carpet then we went into town we bort a lux a rubbish bin candy, chocolate, chips and all those nice sweets we got sugar, milo, and tea. Then we put in our camping bunks and fold out couches it is like a mini B&B all need to get the power done and put the lights in. Then it will be our nice hut. You could have breakfast because there is cereal there is a sink with a tap and all that stuff it is really cool!!!

Beeswax wraps

Today we made beeswax wrap for my class zero waste project it was really cool next time it will be easier because we have already done it.
