Today in Whenua we had to do more Anzac learning at one of my actives were to make a bookmark. This is my bookmark it is about my other blog post (Torty the Tortoise) I write the title and author on it as you can see. These is the 4th active I hope you can read all of them.

Nature T-shape literacy

 

Today in Whenua we are learning about this Tortoise for more Anzac learning. This is my 5th post about my anzac I need to do nine. This is torty the tortoise I did research out his kind and different facts. It was a bit hard finding the facts. I liked when I got to look at werid Tortoies.

First World War Mascots

 Today we read a book and the title of the book was The first world war mascots, we read it and went back over it and then added the 5 best parts out of the book.

1. A mascot is used to represent a group of people or a team.

2. Many New Zealand troops had mascots such as dogs, Birds, Cats, Donkeys, Goats, and Monkeys.

3. They had those animals because to keep them comfortable when they're at war.

4. The New Zealand mascot was a Donkey for the corps.

5. Only just not people were in the navy a bulldag was a sailer.

At school we have been doing hard work on Anzac learing I found these senteces myself it took me about 30 minutes it wasn't long you could probably do these at home sometimes when your bored.I liked doing this stuff im doing 7 more actives.

28th Maori Battalion

 

Today at school we are learning about Anzac and were are doing the 28th Maori Battalion. We had to find out where it happened what happened and why they did this war. This was fun easy and I like to do this stuff. Today at school we did a kenning poem. You have to guess in the comments what you think this is about. I liked it. This was a fun easy task to do at school. I will defiantly do a kenning poem again.
