Summer learning journey

Today at school we did a Summer learning journey task and we had to make Kowhaiwhai and I drawed mine and it was fun but a little bit hard to make it though.Maybe you can show me your Kowhaiwhai and post it on your blog. I hope you enjoyed it.

    I thought this activity was very interesting as it teaches you about Tānerore who you are able to see often on these hot summer days and about the infamous kowhaiwhai pattern seen throughout Māori culture. Have you seen him in the hot air yet this summer?

    I think your pattern looks really cool, I like how you colored it so both the black and white sections form a pattern. It looks very symmetrical and I like that you used the Koru and the Mangopare patterns. Do you know what those patterns symbolize, maybe you can research it and include it in your post.

    Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.
