A farm worker has to work through basically any weather to keep the farm up and working. Some of the workers wake up at 6:30 in the morning to drive the tractor around to feed heaps of cows and some stay past 12pm at night just to see if no calves have been born. At calve season you have to work for 18hrs just in case if calves get born and something bad happens.

Con’s: Working in bad weather all year round, Always running, Walking, lifting and waking up early in the cold.

Builder.
If you want to be a builder, start in year 11-12 in the contusion industry. It's a good job with a pay of $100,000 dollars a year. And if you do that for 5 years there's $500,000 just there. If you start being a builder at 18 then work for 7 years you get $700,000 at the age of 25. And it depends on if you get paid more or less to be wealthy.
Pro’s: Teamwork and having jokes with each other is a problem solver just in case you muck up. And then you can make your own company if you're doing good.
Con’s: Hard sweaty days, high risk of hurting yourself.
What happened to this job in covid-19.
They were only allowed to work if they were cleared of the vaccine and only so much could work.

Predators. What are blue-ringed octopus' predators? They are Seals, Whales, Eels, Birds, Fish and their biggest predators are moral Eels. The reason why the moral eel is the blue-ringed octopus's biggest predator because it's faster in attack.
Food diet. They eat small crustaceans including shrimps, Crabs and they even eat other octopuses which make them a lot bigger. The reason why the Blue-ringed octopus eats these animals because they are not as powerful as him.

Today in Whenua we did a run which was 2.5km I came 2nd out of 54 ish. And after that run, we are doing this against Taiao(Room 8) This is an exercise DLO the reason we did it is that, that some people just sat down and waited because they don't like it but it actually helps you with all of these things. I liked it, it was fun and hoped you enjoyed.
Today in Whenua Harrison and I made this energy DLO blog post for our reading block it was easy fun to do hard we were researching for ages. I liked doing it. We did it because our school is focusing on energy this term.
Dear PTA
Hi, my name is Quaid and I think we should have a fishing pond at Paroa school. This is a great idea because we can do Paroa fishing competitions and it would be good for the environment. It would be great for people that don't know how to fish but they can learn.
We can do big fishing competitions. The biggest fish and eel win's a mufti or free time voucher. The pond will cost between 1,500 to 9,000 dollars to make a standard pond. We can catch eels and trout as well to put in the pond.
The skills for fishing and eeling are to be quiet, think if you have one on, be patient and be strong to hold the fish and the rod. When your fishing you can enjoy the nature behind you and around you.
The fishing pond would help our environment because we can have more life in our school. Wekas would be out chilling by the pond. Dogs will be drinking out of it..
This is why we need an eeling/fishing pond at school we can fundraise as well so we can have a pond it would bring lots of fun and new skills to our school it would probably help our environment medal to silver.
Sunserly Quaid.
Today at school we had to write a persuasive letter about what we want at our school this is mine we spent 2 weeks on it and this is how it turns out. This was a little bit hard. It was fun and challenging. I choosed this be it seems like a lot of people don't know how to fish or eel so I thought they can learn at school.
Today at school Jari and I did this google drawing about Nuclear energy and this is what we did. We write facts and definitions of nuclear energy. I liked doing it was fun easy to do.There are 3 tasks and this is my 2nd one, I can't remeber if I posted my 1st one. Hope you enjoyed.
My weekend sport hasn't started but I decided to tell you anyway about them. League is a contact sport where you tackle the person that's holding the ball. Once the tackle is made and you hold them for 3 seconds the ref says "held" then he would say back in line with me. After 6 tackle's its hand over to the team that just tackled. To get a try (score) a point you have to put the ball down just past the line where the goal post is. (the big H-looking thing) I'm really good and I went in a west coast team vs. canterbury and Kaiapoi bulldogs. We won against Kaiapoi but we lost against canterbury.
Rugby is a fun hard-hitting sport when you tackle someone you got to try to steal the ball back off them into your team's hands then try to score a try we are real good at this sport we only lost kiwi(Hokitika) and Blakektown we in against all the others though.
Touch is a noncontact sport if someone was running you put your hand out and touch them with our hand and say TOUCH!!! out loud you only have 5 touchs then hand over. If the ball touchs the ground when pasted and no one catches it. Its hand over. I have been to nelson to play west coast touch before and we did pretty good.
These are my three weekend sport and I am very good at all of these. When you stick with something and try be better and you are getting better thats how you become good at sports and I have stuck with these sports for a while now and I am good. Can you tell me your weekend sport.
Today I write all this about my weekend sport My league, rugby and touch. I write what do how to play. This is a blog contrat so you can do when you want and I wanted to do a blog contract and I picked my weekend sport. This was fun easy to do I love doing these things.
Today at school we did a thing about energy there are two sites. Text one is one site. Text two is another site. We write similarly in the middle and those are similar. I liked doing this it was cool a bit hard. The reason we did this is that we are focusing on energy at our school. Hope you enjoyed.
Today at school I did a blog post about me and we write about our pets our favourite things and sibling and what I like doing and this is what I write about me. It was fun easy and hope you enjoyed it.
And this is why we need a rock climbing wall.
We need a rock climbing wall in the hall because on rainy days we can play and have fun on it. It can be a new activity for house games the fastest team wins. We can do class competitions. The fastest one from each class vs's each other and they win their class a prize. We can fun raise for it like sausage sizzles and that stuff. That's why we need a rock climbing wall.
We had to pick one thing to persuade our teachers to get us a rock climbing wall in our hall. These are all the reasons I can think of. I liked doing it I would do it again it was a bit hard. WALT(we are learning to) persuade and this is what I did.
Today at school Harrison and I did measuring and we measured A timer, door handles, Ajar, BIC pens, and my drink bottle. I liked doing this because I like maths. It was easy. We were wearing pencils on our heads thinking we were builders. I want you to do this same thing as me.
Today at school we did a google drawing about energy. This is what we did after a little bit of re-searching. The thing I knew that energy can come from rock and gas. Did you know that energy can grow from the sun. And the energy that gets used's in american doubles every 20 years. I liked doing this and I rate it 8/10 it was a bit hard.
This Seasonal poem was fun good it makes you think a bit. My poem is about Winter because thats when I get to smash people in league and rugby like the big boys. I would do this againg I liked this a lot.
Today we did a blogging contract and this is the one I choose. These are my hobbies. Motorbike racing, Trout fishing, Moana, and catching big eels. I found some big eels when I was looking for good photos. I would do this again it was a bit hard.
The Tree of Life
Story starter!
She held hope in her outstretched hands. Kneeling gently on the ground, she prepared herself for what she knew she must do. The cool water trickled through her muddy fingers, and the soft, black earth felt comfortingly warm on her palms.
Planting the tree of life would mean a new beginning. The opportunities were endless…
Feeling the excitement course through her quivering body, she lowered the tree of life into the small hole she had prepared. It was time…
The tree blessing as the wind blows. The swing creaking as it moves. The water slushes down the dirt humps. Apple falling plopping into the chilly water. The water crumbles down. Roots poking out. Growing like a giant tree so big that she can't hold it anymore.
Past the few days in Whenua, we did the life of tree writing I know my writing is short but I tried the hardest I could we all did it. This was a bit challenging but I got through it and yeah. I would do it again maybe.
Today at school we're going back over the Kawa of care and Mis Farr write out numbers and we picked them out of a hat. And I got number 6 so we write about it. And this is mine we had to say what it sounds like feels like and looks like. And this is what it turned out to be.
